Make sure each note rings out clearly and evenly. Begin on the lowest note, and using a downward motion, sweep the pick across the strings, playing one note per string. The licks starts on the twelfth fret of the A string and we’re gonna sweep down to the tenth fret of the D string and then down to the ninth fret on the G string to the tenth fret on the B string. Start with a three-string arpeggio shape, such as a major or minor triad, on the top three strings. So here we have a sweep picking sequence which is combining an A minor arpeggio, F major, G major and E major arpeggio.
